Alison Armitage, born February 26, 1965 in High Wycombe, London, England, has a mixed French, English, and German heritage. She spent her childhood in Hong Kong for twenty years before becoming a competitive swimmer at age four and qualifying for the Olympic team representing Hong Kong. Armitage studied computer science at the University of San Diego in California, after which she moved to Denver, Colorado, and later Los Angeles, California. Using the alias Brittany York, she became Playmate of the Month in October 1990 for 'Playboy'. Subsequently, she appeared in numerous 'Playboy' videos and worked with brands like Reebok Sportswear and Budweiser Beer. Armitage had minor film roles and recurring TV parts, including 'Acapulco H.E.A.T.', 'The New Adventures of Robin Hood', and 'The Bold and the Beautiful'. She speaks fluent French.
