Anna Kay Faris, born November 29, 1976, is an American actress known for her comedic roles. She gained prominence playing Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie series (2000-2006). Notable film appearances include 'The Hot Chick' (2002), 'Lost in Translation' (2003), and 'Brokeback Mountain' (2005). On television, she had a recurring role on 'Friends' (2004) and starred as Christy Plunkett in 'Mom' (2013-2020). She has also done voice work for animated films like 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' (2009-2013). In 2015, Faris launched the advice podcast 'Unqualified', followed by her memoir of the same name in 2017, which became a New York Times bestseller.
