Sei Ashina, born Igarashi Aya and later adopting the stage name Sei Ashina, began her career as a model before transitioning into acting. She made her debut on television with The Tail of Happiness (しあわせのシッポ) in 2002, modeling for magazines like Shogakukan's CanCam and Shueisha's Pinky during the same year. Ashina is known for her role as Hime in Kamen Rider Hibiki and portrayed an unnamed concubine, The Girl, in Silk (2007).
