Camille Lou, born Camille Houssière on May 22, 1992 in Bersillies near Maubeuge, France, is a French singer and actress known for her roles in musicals. She began her singing career at the age of twelve when she won a local singing competition, les Voix de Noël, in Hautmont. Lou attended lycée Notre-Dame de Grâce à Maubeuge and later studied at the University of Valenciennes. In 2010, she released her first album 'La Grande Aventure' under the pseudonym Jimmie. Lou's big break came in musical theatre when she was cast as Olympe in Dove Attia's '1789: Les Amants de la Bastille'. She later played Guenièvre in 'La Légende du roi Arthur', and has also sung on albums like 'We Love Disney' and 'Forever Gentlemen Volume 2'. Additionally, Lou appeared in Emmanuel Fricero's film 'Marché noir' as Hélène Barignet.
