Carmen Ejogo began her acting career at a young age, debuting in the musical film 'Absolute Beginners' (1986) as an adolescent. Her breakthrough role came when she was cast as Sally Hemings in the TV movie 'Sally Hemings: An American Scandal' (2000). Since then, she has built a diverse career in both feature films and television.
