Elizabeth Banks, born February 10, 1974, is an American actress and producer. She is known for her roles as Effie Trinket in 'The Hunger Games' series (2012-2015) and Gail Abernathy-McKadden in 'Pitch Perfect' films (2012-2017). Banks made her film debut in 'Surrender Dorothy' (1998), and has since appeared in various notable films like 'Wet Hot American Summer' (2001), 'Spider-Man' trilogy (2002-2007), 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' (2005), and more recently, 'Charlie's Angels' (2019) which she directed, produced, wrote, and starred in. She founded Brownstone Productions with her husband Max Handelman in 2002.
