Kelly Rowland, born Kelendria Trene Rowland on February 11, 1981, is an American singer, actress, and television personality. She gained international fame as a member of Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups. During Destiny's Child hiatus, Rowland released her debut solo album 'Simply Deep' in 2002, selling over 2.5 million copies worldwide and producing hit singles like 'Dilemma' with Nelly and 'Stole'. She also transitioned into acting, appearing in television sitcoms, and starring in films such as 'Freddy vs. Jason' (2003) and 'The Seat Filler' (2004).
