Lynette Curran is an Australian actress known for her extensive work in theater and film. Born in Australia, she began her acting career in 1964 with stage productions like 'The Country Wife', 'Rookery Nook', and 'Richard II'. She also played notable roles in soap operas such as 'Bellbird' from 1967 to 1974, 'Number 96', and 'The Restless Years'. Curran's film debut was in the Australian comedy-drama 'Alvin Purple' (1973), followed by roles in films like 'Caddie' (1976) and 'Heatwave' (1982). She won a Sammy Award for her role in the ABC series 'Spring and Fall'. Her later works include 'The Delinquents', 'Somersault', and 'Japanese Story', as well as TV roles in 'Love My Way' and 'Underbelly: The Golden Mile'.
