Sherrie Rose was born and raised in a trailer park but left at 16 to attend the University of South Florida, where she simultaneously excelled as an electrical engineering student and theatrical performer, appearing on both the Dean's List and in local theater productions. Inspired by the camaraderie and fun she witnessed among actors, Rose began her acting career, securing roles in 'Miami Vice' (1984) and 'Summer Job' (1989), earning an Emmy nomination for her work in 'Tales from the Crypt' (1989). She shared a birthday with Billy Zane, whom she met during their collaboration on 'Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight' (1995). Rose wrote, directed, produced, and starred in her own film, 'Me and Will' (1999), which opened the 'Women in Film' series on Sundance Channel. She was engaged to Michael DeLuise and dated Ray Liotta following their collaboration in 'Unlawful Entry' (1992). Her recent relationships include rocker Dave Navarro and Shane West.
