Trama
In 'Calzones Rotos', the matriarch Matilde lives in a hacienda house with her three unmarried daughters and an adopted youngest daughter. As Matilde's health declines, her two grandchildren, one accompanied by his American wife, visit for what will be a brief but intense family reunion. In a posthumous confession to the village priest, Matilde reveals that she murdered her husband 40 years ago and buried him in a chest in the garage.
