Trama
Anna Bronsky, a violin teacher at the Conservatoire, against her colleagues' advice, admits Alexander to her class, recognizing his exceptional talent. Anna becomes increasingly involved in Alexander's training for the end-of-year exam, preparing him for challenging performances despite warnings that he might not be ready. Meanwhile, Anna neglects her own son Jonas, who also plays violin and has an interest in ice hockey. As tension grows between Anna and her husband Philippe Bronsky, a French luthier, Alexander approaches his audition. On the day of the exam, an accident occurs with severe consequences.
