'Hit Man', released in 1972, is an American action-drama film directed by George Armitage. It is notable for being one of the few black-cast films in the blaxploitation genre that was not originally written as such. The movie is a remake of the iconic Michael Caine action film 'Get Carter'. It stars Bernie Casey as Tyrone, an ex-cop seeking justice for his brother's death amidst the interconnected worlds of crime and pornography in Los Angeles.
