Trama
Fifteen-year-old Esmée feels neglected by her mother who seems more interested in her new boyfriend than her daughter. Through their mutual friend Ljilja, Esmée meets Marko, a calm Bosnian boy with whom she falls deeply in love. However, Esmée soon discovers that Marko is not as reliable or trustworthy as she initially believed him to be. As the story unfolds from Esmée's perspective, it explores how her feelings for Marko lead her astray and ultimately force her to confront difficult choices.
