Trama
Parade's End unfolds during World War I against the backdrop of societal upheaval in Europe. Christopher Tietjens, a conservative English aristocrat and top civil servant from a wealthy background, finds his marriage to Sylvia, a mean socialite, crumbling almost immediately after their nuptials.
