In the isolated northern Canadian city of Wintertide, volunteer watch person Beth finds herself battling an enigmatic plague that transforms the few remaining residents into vacant, zombie-like beings. As the long, harsh winter sets in and the illness begins to consume everyone around her, Beth discovers a unique ability: she can enter an alternate dimension through her dreams.
