Shari Solanis, born on December 13, 1977, in Pennsylvania, USA, grew up in a Jewish neighborhood of Philadelphia with her mother and stepfather, while maintaining close ties with her Vietnam veteran father. From an early age, Shari showed interest in the arts, joining a girl's choir at age 12 and later graduating from the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts after discovering a passion for drama. After moving to New York, she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and performed in various theatrical productions before transitioning into film and television roles. Shari moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and singing opportunities, eventually securing her breakthrough role as Angela in Philippe Diaz's 'Now & Later' (2007), where she delivered a confident and charismatic performance praised by The New York Times.
