Storia
After World War II, Antonia and her daughter Danielle return to their Dutch hometown where Antonia's late mother has left them a small farm. Antonia settles down there with Danielle, joining a close-knit yet unconventional community comprising characters like Crooked Finger, Bas (who becomes a suitor), and eventually, Antonia's granddaughter and great-granddaughter. This family of empowered women grows stronger over time.
