Storia
A successful TV star during the 1960s, former "Hogan's Heroes" actor Bob Crane projects a wholesome family-man image, but this front masks his persona as a sex addict who records and photographs his many encounters with women, often with the help of his seedy friend, John Henry Carpenter. This biographical drama reveals how Crane's double life takes its toll on him and his family, and ultimately contributes to his death.
Riassunto
Bob Crane, renowned for his role as Colonel Hogan in 'Hogan's Heroes', led a double life that was anything but heroic. By day, he was the picture of wholesome family values; by night, he indulged his sex addiction with numerous partners, recording and photographing his encounters alongside his seedy accomplice, John Henry Carpenter. Crane's compulsions took their toll on his marriages to Anne Terzian and Patti Olson, both of whom were aware of his infidelities. His excessive lifestyle, fueled by fame and facilitated by Carpenter, ultimately contributed to Crane's untimely death in 1978. This biographical drama explores the tragic downfall of a man who was beloved on-screen but struggled with demons off-screen.
