Storia
In 1960s California, Sally Hyde (Jane Fonda), wife of a Marine Captain serving in Vietnam, volunteers at a local veterans' hospital to pass the time. There she meets Luke Martin (Jon Voight), her former high school classmate who was severely wounded and paralyzed in Vietnam. As Sally spends more time with Luke, they grow close and eventually fall in love. When Sally's husband Bob (Bruce Dern) returns from the war, he finds his marriage strained due to Sally's feelings for Luke.
