Storia
In post-WWII London (1946), novelist Maurice Bendrix reunites with his old friend Henry Miles after a two-year hiatus. Their meeting rekindles Maurice's obsession with Sarah Miles, Henry's wife and Maurice's former lover who abruptly ended their affair without explanation. Driven by jealousy, Maurice hires a detective agency to investigate Sarah's suspected infidelity. Meanwhile, Maurice struggles with his lingering feelings for Sarah and tries to uncover the truth behind why she ended their relationship.
