Trama
The year is 1630 in 'Forfølgelsen'. A young woman named Eli Laupstad arrives at a small mountain village. She witnesses a woman being hunted and captured by villagers, who suspect her of witchcraft. Eli learns from Aslak Gimra, the caretaker of the largest farm's horses, about this event. Upon reaching out to Ingeborg Eriksdotter Jaatun, the head of the largest farm in her husband's absence, Eli is permitted to work and reside there, weaving and dyeing yarn and fabric with her own equipment. Eli intends to settle down in the village as she is descended from its inhabitants.
