In the fourth century BC, Hercules (Dwayne Johnson), the legendary Greek demigod, has turned his back on his divine heritage and now lives as a mercenary with his loyal team of warriors. When the King of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord who threatens their kingdom, Hercules must face the greatest challenge of his life. Riassunto
Hercules (2014) is an action-packed adventure film directed by Brett Ratner and starring Dwayne Johnson as the titular character. Based on the graphic novel 'Hercules: The Thracian Wars' by Steve Moore, the movie is set in ancient Greece during the fourth century BC. After completing his twelve legendary labors, Hercules has turned away from his divine heritage and now lives a life of violence as a mercenary. When the King of Thrace offers him a chance to redeem himself by helping protect his kingdom from a tyrannical warlord, Hercules must confront his past and prove himself once again.
