Trama
In October 1989, Herr Lehmann (Leander Haußmann) leads an aimless existence in SO 36, a district of West Berlin that had been largely isolated by the Wall for nearly three decades. He works as a bartender and spends his time drinking with friends like Karl (Alexander Scheer), who also lives a carefree life. Lehmann pursues an affair with Katrin (Hannah Herzsprung), a cook at a nearby restaurant. His routine is disrupted when his parents unexpectedly visit, causing tension in his relationship with Katrin. Meanwhile, Karl starts acting strangely, and political unrest brews on the other side of the Berlin Wall.

Riepilogo
Herr Lehmann, directed by Leander Haussmann, offers a snapshot of life in late 1980s West Berlin, specifically in SO 36, an area known for its vibrant, bohemian subculture. The film follows the titular character, Herr Lehmann (Leander Haußmann), a barkeeper who embodies the lethargic, apolitical attitude prevalent among the locals. As the Wall falls and political turmoil escalates, Lehmann's self-centered world begins to crumble, forcing him to confront his own life and relationships.
