Storia
Alistair, a British representative for a wildlife conservation agency based in Karachi, and his Jewish-American wife Hannah struggle with infertility. In their desperation to conceive, they travel to a fertility shrine run by eunuchs where Hannah converts to Islam during a ceremony. Afterwards, Hannah becomes pregnant but the couple's relationship begins to fray as Alistair starts an affair with their friend Samira. Tensions further escalate when the shrine's eunuchs take interest in Hannah's pregnancy due to religious beliefs and cultural clashes.
