La vallée follows the story of a Swiss young man named André who decides to leave his comfortable life in Switzerland to go and live among the Nuxalk, an indigenous tribe in British Columbia, Canada. Upon arriving at their village, André is taken under the wing of Chief Jimmy, who teaches him about the tribe's culture and traditions.
