Storia
In 1913, Connie Reid marries Sir Clifford Chatterley, a wealthy Nottingham colliery owner. However, after returning from World War I disabled and wheelchair-bound, Clifford engages nurse Mrs Bolton to care for him, alienating Connie who longs for intimacy. Despite Clifford's desire for an heir, his impotency leaves Connie unsatisfied. She finds passion in the arms of Oliver Mellors, the gamekeeper her husband hired, who is a former miner.
