Trama
Lila dit ça (2004) follows the life of Chimo, a talented young man living with his mother in an impoverished Arab neighborhood. His teacher offers him the chance to study in Paris, but financial constraints prevent him from taking this opportunity. Chimo's friends include Mouloud, who is smitten with Lila, a newcomer to their neighborhood. Despite Mouloud's interest, it is Chimo who forms a close bond with Lila, drawn by her allure and candid stories about her sexual experiences. Chimo develops feelings for Lila but struggles to express them. When Mouloud overhears a private conversation between Lila and Chimo, he misinterprets its contents, leading to tragic consequences.
