Riassunto
Requiem pour un vampire (1971) is a French horror film directed by Jean Rollin, known for his low-budget 'vampire' films that often blend erotic and Gothic elements. The movie centers around Michelle and Marie, two virginal women who unwittingly become entangled in the world of a centuries-old vampire king while seeking shelter in his château. The film explores themes of torture, sadism, sexual abuse, and submission to evil, as the protagonists are transformed into vampiric vixens. Despite its limited resources, 'Requiem pour un vampire' is considered one of Rollin's most disturbing and intense films.
