Trama
In Paris, 1952, Nadia, a 15-year-old Communist activist, meets Stéphane, a photographer who saves her from being beaten by police during an anti-American demonstration. They begin a friendship that evolves into a love affair. Meanwhile, some of Nadia's fellow Communists become hostile towards her due to her relationship with Stéphane and her changing beliefs. When she goes away with Stéphane for a photo shoot, Nadia's father reports him to the police, leading Stéphane to consider leaving for Indochina to cover the war. In parallel, Nadia's mother reunites with her prewar lover who was released from Siberia, challenging the French Communists' views.
