Biografia completa
Carmen Silva was an Italian (?) actress active during the early-to-mid 1970s, primarily known for her roles in European cult cinema and genre films. She gained significant recognition for her performance in "The House of Exorcism" (1975), the re-edited version of Mario Bava's Lisa and the Devil. In this film, she portrayed Anna, a woman whose tragic death and subsequent demonic manifestations serve as a central source of psychological torment for the exorcist, Father Michael.
Her career was characterized by appearances in Italian "B-movies" and horror productions, which have since gained a following among fans of international exploitation cinema. Beyond her work with Bava, she appeared in the 1974 horror film The Hand That Feeds the Dead (directed by Sergio Garrone) and the comedy Trinity Plus the Clown and a Guitar (1975). Although her filmography is relatively brief, her contribution to the "Exorcist-clone" subgenre of the 1970s remains a notable part of horror film history.
