Kerissa Fare was born as Keri Lynn Furman on December 31, 1976, in Riverside, California. Growing up in Orange County, she attended La Sierra High School, where she was active as both a cheerleader and a member of the track team before graduating in 1995. In early 2000, she moved to Southern California to pursue a professional career in modeling.
Her breakthrough came shortly after when she was selected as the Playmate of the Month for the September 2000 issue of Playboy magazine. Following her appearance as a centerfold, she continued to work with the brand, appearing in several Playboy videos and featuring in various newsstand special editions. Beyond her modeling career, Fare gained public attention in 2004 when she was called to testify in a high-profile trial involving the Helzer brothers, as she had been dating Glenn Helzer at the time of a series of tragic events. In recent years, her story has been featured in true crime documentaries, such as The Playboy Murders on Investigation Discovery.
