Biografia completa
Lisa Taylor is an iconic American model and actress who became one of the most defining faces of the 1970s fashion scene. Born in 1952, she rose to international stardom as a high-fashion supermodel, frequently serving as the muse for legendary photographer Helmut Newton. Her striking, athletic, and sophisticated look epitomized the "independent woman" aesthetic of the era, leading her to grace the cover of Vogue four times between 1975 and 1977. Taylor’s collaboration with Newton was instrumental in shaping the provocative and cinematic style of fashion photography that dominated the decade.
In 1978, Taylor successfully transitioned from the runway to the silver screen with her notable role in the neo-noir thriller Eyes of Laura Mars. In the film, she played Michele, a high-fashion model caught in the middle of a series of grisly, supernatural murders. Her performance was praised for its authenticity, as the movie's visual style was directly inspired by the very world of fashion photography she had helped create. Following this breakthrough, she appeared in other films such as the 1980 cult classic Where the Buffalo Roam alongside Bill Murray and the 1984 drama Windy City. Though she eventually stepped away from the spotlight, Lisa Taylor remains a celebrated figure for her dual legacy in both the golden age of supermodeling and 1970s cinema.
