Maripier Morin starred as Marie Lamontagne in 'La chute de l'empire américain' (2018), playing a pivotal role alongside Marc-André Grondin's character, Pierre-Paul Gendron, who unwittingly becomes involved in a crime. The film follows Pierre-Paul's struggle to dispose of two bags of money he finds while being pursued by a gang leader and police detectives.
