Megan Garcia is an American actress most recognized for her recurring lead role as the character
Sabiah the Genie in a series of independent horror anthology films.
Her breakout role came in the 2013 low-budget film Shivers Down Your Spine: I Dream of Djinni, where she portrayed the titular genie who is summoned from a lamp and proceeds to tell a collection of frightening tales. She reprised this role in several sequels and related features, including Monster Mayhem (2014), Shivers Down Your Spine (2015), and the notably titled Chills Down Your Spine (2020).
Garcia’s portrayal of the tattooed, red-haired genie character has often been cited by independent film critics as a standout element of the campy series, praised for adding a playful, humorous lightness to the horror narratives.
