Severina Vučković, known professionally as Severina, is a preeminent Croatian pop star and actress whose career has spanned over three decades, making her one of the most recognizable cultural icons in Southeast Europe. Born in Split in 1972, she rose to national fame in the early 1990s, quickly establishing herself as a "femme fatale" of the Adriatic pop scene with hits like "Djevojka sa sela."
