Tuire Salenius is a Finnish actress who gained prominence in both film and television during the latter half of the 20th century.
She made her feature film debut in the 1971 comedy film Aatamin puvussa... ja vähän Eevankin (In Adam's Dress and a Bit in Eve's Too), directed by Matti Kassila. In the film, she played the role of Tuire Korpela, appearing alongside lead actors Heikki Kinnunen and Juha Hyppönen. The film's plot involves the comical situations that arise when the main characters are left without clothes after an escaped convict steals them.
Salenius is perhaps most widely known for her memorable role as the character Ulla in the highly popular Finnish television comedy series Tankki täyteen, which aired in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Her portrayal of the outspoken and sharp-witted Ulla earned her significant recognition and cemented her place in Finnish popular culture.
